Working with Brittany and Shawn was so much fun! They are professional, fun, sweet, encouraging, and take their time. They work amazingly together as a team and make you feel so comfortable as the model. I was nervous as I thought I wouldn’t know what to do but they guided and encouraged me the whole time. What I loved most about this experience was there wasn’t a moment that I felt uncomfortable. Hanging over the edge of a cliff with major ptsd was super hard but I had positive encouragement the whole time. The dress makes you feel so glamorous and the end results do not disappoint! What a fun experience. Such a great way to connect, laugh with my partner AND get some amazing images. Brittany and Shawn are awesome to work with. They came prepared with locations and backup locations in mind and communicated their why both before and in the moment. Brittany made sure I felt safe, comfortable, and inspired. You can tell they care deeply about their craft, they know the area, lighting, the compositions they want. Their time integrity and attention to detail gave me confidence in whatever shot we wanted would and did happen. The entire experience was playful, easy, convenient , well thought through and composed. From start to finish the time I spent with them went so fast - they are an efficient/effective team! As someone who does not have modeling or posing experience this was a lovely and comfortable way to show up and just be myself. It could not have been more perfect and surpassed my expectations and quickly dispelled any anxiety I had going into it!

This was such a wonderful experience with Brittany and Shawn! Both passionate and knowledgeable about their craft, they made me feel comfortable and empowered the entire shoot. The location they had scouted was absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sunset over Yosemite Valley with them was just as incredible as the final results! The dress is so, so fun to wear and the whole experience felt magical. The pictures turned out gorgeous (I can't believe how well Brittany caught the mountain light!) and I am so happy to have done this experience with them.

Modeling long dresses is such a liberating experience. The flow of the fabric, the way it sways with every step, it’s just magical. It feels like you’re embodying a character from a fairytale, each dress telling its own story as you move. Working with photographer Brittany Colt has honestly been an incredible experience. She treats everyone professionally and with kindness. She’s really comfortable to work with, making the whole experience enjoyable and empowering. She has this remarkable ability to make every model feel comfortable and empowered, like she sees the goddess within each of us and brings it to light through her lens. Working with her has truly been a joy and an honor.

I purchased this photo shoot as a birthday gift to myself and it was one of the best gifts I ever gave myself! Brittany and Shawn are top notch, talented photographers. Their photography work is stunning, narrative, dynamic and emotive. They have intimate knowledge of the nature and parks they work in - and they take you to really amazing locations. The views are stunning and create magical backdrops. The photos look like a fantasy! They are both wonderfully encouraging and instantly make you feel at ease and beautiful - and they have great cues for posing so even if you don’t know how - they’ve got you. I felt safe and welcomed and well cared for the entire time. I already want to return another year (I flew halfway across the country for this shoot!) for another shoot in another location with The Flying Dress Experience! I highly recommend them, do it, treat yourself!! . 11/10!
