Hi! We're Brittany Colt & Shawn Reeder, the artists, and lovers of life experiences behind The Flying Dress Experience. Our mission is simple, to help provide you with an amazing experience outside in nature in some of the most beautiful locations on earth.
Have you ever imagined yourself atop a granite mountain, beautiful fabric flowing with the breeze, fully embodied as the woman you really are? Taking in endless vistas as you look off into the distance as the sun is setting? Allowing yourself the experience of connecting with Mother Earth and expressing your inner feminine? Perhaps even standing as a goddess under a sky full of stars?
This is the spirit of The Flying Dress Experience. We're here to help facilitate an experience for you where you're free to express yourself in nature and we can create magic together through our art.
Our goal from the beginning has always been to foster you having memorable and meaningful outdoor experience while being able to also receive stunning images of yourself!
We specialize in the Eastern Sierra, Yosemite Valley, Tioga Pass, Tuolumne Meadows, the ancient Bristlecone Pine forest, Alabama Hills, Mono Lake, and Death Valley. We travel whenever we can and regularly photograph the California & Oregon Coast, the Pacific Northwest (PNW), and the Desert Southwest of Utah, Colorado, and Arizona.

Flying Dress & Goddess Style Photo Sessions
We offer Photo Sessions where you can bring your own dress, or you can choose the color of a Flying Dress for an extra special experience! We have a few different colors on hand for those of you who might be booking spontaneously. And if you'd like to choose a color we don't already have in stock, make sure to plan ahead and book your shoot at least 6 weeks in advance since it does take a while for the dresses to come in.

Welcome to The Flying Dress Experience, the creative team of Brittany Colt & Shawn Reeder. We specialize in offeriunf Flying Dress & Goddess Syle Photo Sessions in Yosemite, Mammoth Lakes, the Eastern Sierra, Desert Southwest, Pacific Coast and beyond.
Living a Sierra lifestyle has helped us get to know this mountain range quite intimately and it is certainly our home at heart. Yet we also LOVE to explore and photograph new locations. Our Mission is to give you an amazing experience in some of the most beautiful locations on earth, because we LOVE experiences too.
The Flying Dress Experience was created to serve women & couples who share our love for adventure, travel, unique experiences, and the outdoors. We absolutely LOVE taking you to some of the most amazing locations you can imagine, and then getting to be creative together is the icing on the cake.
Whether hiking up a mountain with us, scrambling to the top of a dome, or taking in the view from an easily accessible viewing area, we know the best locations to capture stunning portraits of you in awe inspiring nature. We love all experiences surrounded by nature and are up for as much of an adventure as you are.
